Network Address Translation [NAT] - PART 1

Network Address Translation (NAT) is a process of modifying network address information in the IP header of packets while they are in transit across a traffic routing device. This is a common process used in many home, business, and cloud networks that you will encounter. The main types of NAT that I will cover in this lesson are the most common ones that you will encounter. Static NAT, Dynamic NAT, and Port Address Translation (PAT).
